Annet Mahendru
Mahendru is a mother of Russian origin who was born in Afghanistan. Mahendru fluently speaks German Russian English. Annet Mahendru has a Russian-Indian father. At the age of 11 Annat Mahendru choreographed, and danced in a show that resulted in a German television appearance. The dance was a Russian snow girl who was transformed into an exciting Indian dancer. Her high school graduation was successful and earned a bachelor's degree in English from New York. The classes she took in acting were with the HB Studios. She later went on to study improv comedy at The Groundlings School. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan to a Hindu-Indian father Ghanshan Ken Mahendru, and an Russian mom Olga. Her family relocated to East Meadow New York, together with her father after she was 13 years old. She is a star with Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel in FX's The Americans. The role she played on FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is perhaps her most memorable TV performance. She has had a recurring appearance on The Following on Fox, The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
